Dorothy Clare Zarren got her BA at Skidmore College where she completed a double major in Studio Art with concentrations in both oil painting and graphic design, and Psychology. She also studied at Parsons Paris in France, an affiliate of the Parsons School of Design. Dorothy completed the Post-Baccalaureate Program at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in December 2009.
Dorothy has a studio at Vernon Street Studios in Somerville, MA and participates annually in both the Vernon Street Open Studios and the Somerville Open Studios. In addition to being an artist, Dorothy also works at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and is an avid sports fan - devotedly cheering on the Boston Celtics.
